Myself & my partner just found out today that we are pregnant, we haven't been trying for that long but I have a heart shaped womb and was told years previous that this day may never come. I have soooo many thoughts going around in my head and can already tell that keeping it secret will be sooo hard, has anyone else had a BFP recently?
New to here and would love to make some online friends! Xx

Congratulations!! I'm 35 weeks pregnant we was trying for our baby for 4 years, we found out when I was 3 weeks pregnant, had to tell people the day after we found out as we were due to go on an all day drinking session and if I wasnt drinking or smoking everyone would have guessed anyway! I wouldve found it very hard to not tell people, I dont know how people do it xx

Congrats! I'm 5+2 weeks pregnant with baby no3. Only told my best friend so far. I'm going to wait until the 12 week scan before telling anyone else. I told everyone really early with DC2 then we had worrying news at the 12 week scan (everything was okay in the end!) but it meant lots of tests and further scans and it was upsetting having to go back and explain that our 12 week scan hadn't gone perfectly and then giving updates after every test and scan. However some people prefer to tell others early so if anything does happen they already have the support in place. It's up to you.

Read your post about being 2.5 weeks. You should be at least 4 weeks going by the first day of your last period. Until your 12 week scan the first day of your LMP will be used to date your pregnancy.

@HannyLove No not a dating scan , just an early reassurance one and then you get the dating scan at 12 weeks usually , it just seemed a long time to wait so we wanted reassurance in the meantime x

@Gemc81 yeah I totally agree with you, I have a heart-shaped womb so they said we might never conceive anyway, so I'm embracing every day. I've only had cramps and a bit of backache so far, little bit of dizziness as well. Xx

@aimzxo aww thank you, congratulations to you too! Has everything gone smoothly for you? I agree, it doesn't help when you're tracking and constantly checking too haha was always going to know early x

@f00k thank you, congratulations to you! Aww lovely, what do you already have? Ah really, I'm new to all this - if that's the case then I'd be 4 weeks + 1. Xx

@itsemily that's a good idea, 8 weeks from now is a long way to wait, I might do the same xx.
