How can I make pregnancy go faster?

Obviously I know I can’t actually speed up time haha, but this pregnancy is dragging because my anxiety is SO bad that I’m spending most days worrying and it feels like time is going so slow! I’m 22+2.

Any tips on keeping me busy? Baby stuff to keep me busy? I’m a writer for a living and work from home 10-7 but even that feels like the longest shift EVER and I can’t do anything else in this time as I have a contract.

Would love some ways to keep myself busy, and make the days go a bit faster.

Cinema? Unlimited cinema pass was fantastic for me during pregnancy - still have it it’s great. That way you’re still going out and doing something but rain proof for winter if you’re in the UK? I work from home it does get lonely! What about meet ups with people in your industry? If you’re into health & fitness - swimming / yoga / other form of exercise? You can still go concerts etc too if you’re into that.

I second the cinema pass, great for 3+ months too with the baby, or a few evenings of alone time whilst dad has Baby.
I just worked my ass off until maternity leave (2 weeks before due date) but also basically lived on holidays. Can you afford a city break or something? We had a week in France and a weekend in Liverpool (and about 6 other pre planned holidays) where we went shopping for the baby. But restricting the ability to shop and the counting down made the pregnancy go quicker. Don’t put too many baby things up yet, it slows time down. Meet up with friends.

Not to sound like a bore but you’re just half way through your pregnancy. You can still do anything you did before you were pregnant (unless there’s a medical reason) so just enjoy being you.

I'm 21 weeks and feel like day to day, my pregnancy is going quite slowly - but on the other hand, I can't believe I'm over halfway already!

One thing that's helping me is prepping the house - I want everything to be completely sorted and in good order by the time the baby arrives, so I have less to stress about afterwards.

So I'm ticking off a load of tedious DIY jobs, prepping the house, deep cleaning (when I have the energy!) and basically just trying to get everything 100% organised and ready before my due date. It's definitely helping the days go quicker!

Second this! Spend time enjoying things you won’t necessarily be able to do once baby is here. I really miss the gym! Would give anything to go there for a few hours to workout and laze around the steam room

Haha the gym is a no go for me I have a chronic illness and have had multiple major bowel surgeries so I’m high risk and have to take it easy. Probably why I’m so bored.
