Hi everyone, so I'm on the home straight and thought I had gotten away with it but unfortunately last night I realised I have developed thrush!
I've had it before but this is the first case during pregnancy. It's not too bad but I'd be keen to get the internal cream today to nip it in the bud.
The NHS website says that the treatment is the same if you're pregnant and not pregnant so I was just going to go to the chemist and buy it.
With that being said, should I phone someone and let them know just to update my notes and things? I don't have a specific number for my midwife it would just be the assessment unit I would phone and run it by them - a part of me thinks phoning about thrush is a bit daft! My GP practice is closed until tomorrow and I don't want them to insist I have to come in and then say "we can only fit you in on Friday" or something!
Long winded story over - should I inform someone or just go and get the cream myself?
Thanks!
