Not after a flaming, just generally interested, what are people's views on drinking whilst pregnant?

I received a promotion at work today, and my colleague said you can have a glass of bubbles to celebrate, I patted my bump and laughed it off. She said plenty do, Is this the case?

No judgement either way.

@NemophilistRebel my first biscuit thanks. I don't care what other people do, it is just a different world to struggle to go 9 months without a drink. I used to drink a fair bit, so I'm not tee total and I don't think small amounts cause harm- so it isn't meant to judge, it's just surprising.

I’m 16 weeks with my second baby.
With my first I didn’t drink anything until about 20 weeks and then I would have a couple of glasses of pinot Grigio watered with lemonade a week

Sorry to add during this pregnancy I have had a few gin and tonics here and there but you should really stick to wine

Where have you got that from? It’s the amount of alcohol not the type that’s the issue.
