I've had my hospital bag packed for a while now, but every list I read says to pack snacks. What did others do for this? So far I've got cereal bars Hmm I really don't know what else to bring??

I had loads of sweet snacks and sweet drinks last time but should've taken something a bit more savoury and filling, I was in labour for days so starving by the end! My boyfriend said he'll be taking some savoury food this time as he got sick of sweets as well. Unfortunately I couldn't eat after a while in case I had to have a cesarean- I was so tired and hungry by the time I gave birth. At the first hint of labour this time I will be having a slap up meal. 😆

If you don't fancy sweets then dried apricots and dates are a good bet - soft, easy to eat, bite size and high-energy. Depends what you like and find comforting.

Isotonic drinks (e.g. Lucozade Sport) or coconut water.
