When did your heartbeat show?

Hi Everyone! Smile
I've recently found out that I'm pregnant after miscarrying back in August. So happy, but also really trying to stay pragmatic this time and not look too far ahead, as difficult as that is.

We're going for a 6 week scan next week and then a 7 week scan the following to compare. I've read conflicting info online with heartbeats showing up (transvaginal scan) and I'm wondering what weeks did everyone see their heartbeats please?

This is sort of to understand how likely it is that I've MC'd again, if the heartbeat doesn't show up next week.

Really appreciate your thoughts!

@Rachae
How did your scans go xx

Hi Ally, I'm really sorry to hear this. I had this happen to me last time and it's just awful. Sending you warm thoughts.

@jdy123 Not good unfortunately! The scan at 6 weeks didn't show anything. They couldn't find anything across reproductive organ scan either so it's a 'pregnancy of unknown location' and I'm going to hospital tonorrow for more investigations. Really gutted and can't believe I've now had two unrelated failed pregnancies. Going to add a new thread to see if anyone has had a similar experience. It's totally bizarre.
Really hope your scan worked out xxx

Hi just wanted to post an update in case anyone has an experience similar!

I went to the hospital today, expecting ectopic or to be monitored... And today there was a baby and a heartbeat!! I can't believe it and not sure what changed across 3 days, but turns out no matter how certain you are on dates... The impossible can happen! Also that one scan can show something completely different to another Smile
