Morning sickness and gender

When I was pregnant with my girl, morning sickness was constant. I remember having to have a supply of crackers to hand and generally feeling tired and sick. This time I don’t have much sickness, maybe once a day and it lasts like 2 minutes. I don’t really feel pregnant which is a bit worrying. Did you have a different level of sickness with a different pregnancy and do you get less sickness with a boy?

I had very little nausea and never sick with DS1 and dreadful sickness and nausea the full way through with DS2, the pregnancies couldn’t have been more different. So no link to sex in my experience.

With my boy, I had no sickness whatsoever.
Then I had three girls in a row, and each time I was pregnant with them I had bad morning sickness. But I know people who had it the other way round :)

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I had some morning sickness. I was nauseous for my whole first trimester and I threw up a lot during my 9th week.
I’m now just over 16 weeks pregnant with twins and I had bad HG. I’m nauseous all day every day, I throw up multiple times a day and somedays I can’t keep anything down. I have lost almost 20 pounds (1.5 stone/9 kgs). I am struggling to look after my 5 1/2 month old and work full time.
I read that morning sickness can be worse with girls so maybe I’m pregnant with twin girls.

HG with both children. Much worse with DD.i was much older though so maybe this made a difference, maybe it was just one of those things. It was horrendous, truly horrendous, no anti emetic pill combinations worked so I'd go for a quick IV at hospital and eat something before it wore off after a few hours and I was vomiting again.
