Newly pregnant, Rhesus D Negative - previously had miscarriage

I've just had a positive test and will only just be 4 weeks pregnant. I had a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks in November 2018 for which I had an ERPC/D&C. Afterwards I was given an injection as apparently I'm Rhesus D Negative. Does anyone know if I need to do anything specific now that I'm pregnant again or will this be picked up in booking appt with midwife?

@hibiscusstar I'm also negative which was picked up at my bloods done on my first midwife appointment. On my 16 week appointment they took my blood to check what blood type my baby is, he is positive so if your baby is positive they will give you the Anti-D injection. I'm having this done in February (Currently 19 weeks pregnant)
So it's not something that has to be sorted straight away. My midwife said to me if i'm in a car crash/have a big knock on my bump or start bleeding i need to call triage to get the Anti- D done straight away.

You can now get a blood test which will tell you the blood type of your baby, and you should be offered this at your first hospital appointment. If the baby is also negative you won't need anything. If the baby is positive you will need an anti-D injection at 26 weeks (I think, it's been a few years, sorry) and then one again after the birth. Other than that you should be fine, it's really not a big deal.

Ok great, thanks. So I will just wait and mention it at first midwife appt.

Just to note that not everywhere does the blood typing of your baby before birth - mine doesn't, they just assume baby is positive and give all rh negative mum's the injection :)

I just had an anti-d injection at 28 weeks. You don't need to do anything. Just mention it at your midwife appointment and they will get you booked into a clinic for it. In my area they don't test the baby's blood until it is born. I'm 32 weeks now.

Be careful you don't have any knocks to your bump or vaginal bleeding - if you do ring your local midwife and they may give you one sooner. Hope this helps.
