People who have had Boys & girls (birth weights)

Just after other peoples experiences really. I've had 2 boys one 7lb 7 one 8lb exactly now I'm 28 weeks pregnant with a girl and I dont feel as heavy or big as I did with the boys. Did your girl weigh less than your boys?

First child, girl - 4065g
Second child, boy - 3500ishg

DD was born much bigger than expected but she did not stay that big, she quickly dropped down to the 50th percentile line and stayed there, makes me wonder a bit if I might have had undiagnosed GD.

I was taller and heavier than my brother. My mum said I was the biggest baby in the hospital. I was also the easier and quicker birth.

DC1 (girl) 7lbs 13oz
DC2 (girl) 8lbs 8oz
DC2 (boy) 7lbs 12oz

Oh and second birth was my easiest!

I have 2 DC, boy and girl, both born at 40+6.

DC1-boy- 8lb 11
DC2-girl-9lb

Girl 41+5 8lb 15oz
Boy 41+1 8lb 8oz

I carried identically in both cases (seriously, measurements the same, I have photos of my wearing the same clothes and I couldn’t tell you which was which baby). Girl measured longer on all her scans than the boy but he was estimated as heavier (they were 2lb out 😂)

My girls were 5lbs 13.5 and 5lbs 13, both born at 39 weeks (in different years). DS was 5lbs 8 at 35 + 4 so would have been bigger if born at the same time as the girls.

Both 1 day late.
Girl 10lb 11oz
Boy 9lb 2oz. I thought he was tiny!

DD - 7lb 12oz - 52cms long
DS - 8lb 9oz - 48cms long

Both exactly 6 days early.

My boys were 7lb, 7lb 8oz and 7lb 11oz (oldest to youngest)
My girls were 7lb 15oz and 7lb 8oz (oldest to youngest) lightest born at 37 weeks heaviest born a 40w plus 9

My daughter was half a pound bigger than my son but she was almost 2 weeks late. I think she’d have been about the same or possibly a little smaller if she’d been on time.

My boy was 6lb 10oz and my girl was 8lb 2oz.

I have two boys, well men now i suppose, 18 and 22. First one was 9lb 11 and the other one was 10lb

I had a boy first, 7lbs 10oz. 10 days early.
Then a girl, 7lbs 8oz. 1 week late.
Next, another girl. 7lbs 11oz. 3 days early.
Finally, another girl. 8lbs 5oz. 1 day late.

So all roughly the same, apart from my third girl who was slightly bigger x

Boy - 7lb 1oz at 37+2
Girl - 8lb at 39+4

I was much much bigger with my baby girl, don't know how I dragged that bump around

Boy born at 40+6 - 7lbs 14½oz
Girl born at 40+6 - 7lbs 13oz

Boy was born 34+5 and weighed 4lb 13oz, Girl was 35+1 and 5lb 4oz

Both babies born at exactly the same gestation (37+6)

ds 8lb1 (estimate 9lb but came 2 wis early)
DD 8lb3 (was estimated at close to 10lb but came early and had long long legs)

B-40wks, 8lbs, but broad.
G-41wks, 7lb8, but tiddley. We had to buy new clothes for her, that were tiny baby.

Both born at 40+6. Daughter was my first. Now pregnant with baby #3 who is a girl and due on december 21st x

Boy 7lb7 1 week early
Both girls 7lb12 5 days and 9 days late.

Both my boy and girl were exactly the same 6lb3oz.
Boy 3 days early, girl 1 day late. So not much difference in gestation.
