Put my knickers on, put my socks on, get out of bed, anything with my bikini line, get close enough to the sink to wash up without being covered in soapy water! And much, much more!

meandmy · 21/08/2007 15:48

put my sock/shoes on i lived in flip flops after 6m!
eat, fill washer, walk up stairs, wait to use toilet
at very end couldnt get out the bath

Tie my Caterpiller boots up - put socks on - paint toe nails. Anything involving feet was the hardest for me

Open the petrol cap lever in the car, get in and out of the car, walk around things that I used to be able to fit around. Get the kids on my knee, pick toys up off the floor....

I'm 32 weeks and I'm starting to find getting socks, shoes, knickers hard to get on and off. Can't really see my bikini line without the help of a mirror now so trying to keep that trim is a bit of a trial. Getting out of the bath is getting harder too. In fact, getting out of bed is getting pretty difficult . Don't mind me, I slept really badly last night (due to big bump and achy hips) so I'm having one of those why-is-everything-so-difficult kind of days!

lol - had forgotten what it was like till I saw this!

I also struggled with tying up trainers, doing the washing up, trying to cook with suacepans on the back burners, picking up dd and sitting her on my lap.

I also got stuck in the bath when I was expecting dd. I lay down in the warm water and dd decided to stretch right out too - and then wouldn't budge however hard I tried to haul myself up. Took me nearly half an hour to get her to move.

We also used to have a futon, so getting out of bed was easy (I just had to roll out) but getting in was a nightmare.

38 weeks! omg Fio, I didn't realise you were due so soon.

Amester · 21/08/2007 16:21

Paint toe nails

Do anything with bikini line

Turn over in bed

Eat food without dropping it on my bump (I have to change my top a couple of times a day as I am constantly covered in food!)

(I'm 39 weeks)

go for more than an hour without a wee

ladygarden maintenance - forget it (was probably the hairiest woman on the labour ward )

Jazzicatz · 21/08/2007 16:25

Sit with the cat - she would get a shock whenever ds1 would move or kick out!

muppetgirl · 21/08/2007 16:35

1st time round i was still teaching at 30 weeks - teachin p.e., climbling ladders to do displays etc.

This time round I can't run very well, go on 3 mile bike rides (as yesterday proved as I got back aching having been kicked in prtest by lo!) I can't do 'ride a cock horse' with ds1 -now 3.5- my bikini line needs soting but I daren't attack that without dh standing by...

I miss being able to muck about with ds1 and after yesterdays' little chat from him -so does he.
(So when will the baby arrive mummy?)
