Exciting! I have 36 days left. This is third and final baby for us. Wish I was as organised as you, I have nothing washed or packed. Everything is all still in the loft.

Your hormones are going to be changing again in prep for birth so feeling weepy could simply be a symptom of this. As for sleeping, twitchy legs here too. They get hot and I feel the need to go and stand in the bath with my feet under the cold tap for 30 seconds.
Waters: I've only experienced waters breaking in dramatic fashion. I felt a pop and then the floods came.
I couldn't comment on waters leaking feels/looks like. The day I went into labour with my first I went to the hospital to check my waters weren't leaking as I kept feeling 'wet' (TMI sorry). Baby was engaged and my bladder wasn't having a good time.
Contractions can start before or after your waters break. Most report contractions starting mild and gradually increase in intensity and frequency over a series of hours. I think I must be an anomaly, for both births 10 minutes after my waters have gone I have started contractions at 2 mins apart and had quick births. Hopefully this one will be the same but there really is no way of knowing how it will go. Stay positive and trust that your body is designed for this.
