Constant nausea and stomach churning for first trimester

9 weeks and this feeling has been going on for about 3 weeks now. I generally tend to feel OK in the morning, then eat a small snack every hour to combat the nausea but by about 2pm the nausea is there constantly and by the time I get home at about 6pm, I'm feeling really ill.

My stomach is constantly churning and making gurgling noises, despite me living off sodding Cereal and toast with the occasional bit of fruit thrown in.

It's awful!! I had the same constant nausea. Felt like the worst hangover that just never went away. Try to eat whatever sounds good as you might find eating the 'right' thing helps your nausea more than others. Official advice is frequent bland food. Only option is to stick it out I'm afraid- one day you will wake up and it will be gone, then you'll move on in your trimesters and will forget it ever happened! Lots of sympathy for you Flowers

Oh my god, thank you so much for replying. Yes yes yes to the hangover comment. The dry mouth also doesn't help!

Im an evening sickness too.
I am soooo looking forward (hoping) the nausea will end soon. 10wks. I've been lucky not to be throwing up much, but feeling on the verge of it is so debilitating.

I also had constant nausea and quite a bit of vomiting since 6 weeks, seemed to slow a bit at 9/10 weeks, now I’m 11 weeks and I get good days and bad days but the bad days are getting less! I used sickness bands on my wrists, I used to try and eat a digestive or two before getting out of bed and I try not to let my tummy feel too empty as this seems to trigger it! It all seemed to help a little bit! I think we just have to ride it out! Roll on the 2nd trimester!

I had this from about 5ish weeks to 13. I was only actually sick once but I felt awful all day every day. The good news is it went away. I only feel sick now (36 weeks) if it's heartburn related and I can get rid of that so it doesn't stick around all day.

You are welcome, and you most definitely aren't alone!! Pregnancy sickness is the worst and women are such heroes for making it through! The other thing I found that helped was to rest as much as possible. The more tired I was, the worse the sickness was. Now is the time to take off as much pressure and look after yourself as much as possible Smile you'll get through this!

Following on from this, does anyone get really cold, shivery and nauseous which is only abated by eating something. Was wondering if this meant my bloody sugar was dropping? Happens to me every 60-90 mins
