I'm 20 weeks, and sometimes when I'm lying still and can feel the baby moving lots, I notice that my stomach goes really hard - sometimes just on one side - do you think this could be the baby turning? Anyone else had this too? I did think it was braxton hicks, but it's happened quite a few times in the past hour and I don't think braxton hicks happen that often. Pretty sure it's nothing to be concerned about as it's completely painless - just a bit strange.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

It's just the baby moving the furniture around to get more comfy!

That sideboard would look much better over here by the belly button I think

I had that lots with dd3 - it turned out to be her back pressed outwards, as i found out when she started using my bladder as a football

I think I read somewhere that the uterus contracts about once every 20 min during pregnancy to increase blood flow, but you don't normally notice it.

I've certainly noticed it a lot more in this pregnancy. If you are concerned, do speak to your midwife though...
