Hello :)

I have Terrible toothache today. I've had it the last few days but it got better until I woke up this morning and it's 10x worse. I have rung the dentist but they can't fit me in until Friday 😭

Anyone got any home remedies that are safe during pregnancy or any medication I can take everything I have recommended to take I can't

Desperate Pregnant women here!

Thanks in advance

Unfortunately you can only take paracetamol I feel for you I've suffered bad with tooth ache on and off since I got pregnant now 27 weeks! It's a nightmare. Things that have helped me but only for short amount of times is a cold flannel on the side of my cheek to try and get rid of inflammation xx

@boymummy3 😭😭 I feared that would be the answer. I have taken paracetamol this morning but it's barely taken the edge off the pain.

I guess I'll have to push through till Friday for the time being. Thank you for your help

What about cloves? You aren't meant to have clove oil, but clove spice is meant to be ok - you can just crush one up and put it around the toothache for a few minutes, then spit it out.

Can you try another dentist or the Community Dental Service /Dental
Hospital if there is one near by? They often have sit and wait clinic type arrangements.
Failing that try your dentist again and say it is getting worse and they need to fit you in sooner or offer telephone advice on pain management - they may have a cancellation or a DNA.

Tooth ache is the worse OP, I would call 111 tonight and get an out of hours appointment with another local dentist. I’ve always found a thin slice of garlic clove placed on the gum to really help, it stings like mad but it’s a natural antibacterial. You can also use corsodyl during pregnancy which may help a little.
