Pram help!

Hi, I'm really struggling to decide on which pram to buy. I'm looking for something that will cope with countryside walks (good suspension, wheels etc) that can be converted into a pushchair for 2 in the future but isn't too crazily heavy/large. I would love any suggestions or advice! Thanks!

Hey OP we were in a similar boat as we have a 2 yr old lab retriever that needs a lot of walking so needed something that could cope with 'off-roading' and I don't have huge car like DH so needed to make sure it would fit both! It all depends on budget really but we went for the Joie Chrome DLX as Mothercare had an offer on:

uk.joiebaby.com/product/chrome-dlx/

My advice would be to go to somewhere like Mothercare/Mamas & Papas and try a few out, it's so hard to tell from looking online and someone at the shop might be able to give recommendations.

Good luck! x

Looking help with a pram.
I am pregnant due in March and have a little girl who will be 18months when baby comes! Looking a double pram suitable for newborn and toddler sitting side by side! Have looked at the out n about but worried about the 3 wheeled option being unsteady! So hard to find the 4 wheeled! Can anyone give me their experience on the 3 wheeled option or recommend any other 4 wheeled double pram that would be suitable for both children being easy to fold and as compact as can be for a double pram? Smile

@MummyBear405 i'm looking at a joie make, would you recommend it? i have a dog so like to go walking and need a pram for tracks. Also a smaller car for the boot.

Hi,

We did a video of the top 10 pushchairs in 2019 - perhaps it will be a good place to start your search?

Hope it's helpful!

We have the Uppababy Vista, it is big but withstands living in the country and all sorts of travel (insured travel bag for plane travel) plus it converts into a double.
John Lewis and M&P stock them, as they do many others - worth a trip to try out.

@ejmay90 We haven't actually used ours yet as LO isn't due until January but compared to others we saw in Mothercare, the wheels were much bigger and the suspension was a bit better too. For the price we paid the quality is fine but I imagine you could get a better quality pram if you're happy to pay more Smile

As pp recommend, can’t fault the uppababy vista - third DC in it now along with DS2 in the toddler seat and still going strong!

@MummyBear405 ohh i should have asked that lol!
Thanks for the info! I don't want to spend the earth really but will look into it more soon :)

Hiya! We’ve just purchased the Uppababy Vista, we sound similar in that we needed something that could cope with regular dog walks/runs. I tested a few and the Uppababy seemed best - large wheels, light to manoeuvre, easy to put up and down, wheels lock forward facing to help in bigs or deep mud, removable wheels so can hose them down and it converts to a double if you have another baby.
It’s a lot of money but we figured it would last us the long-haul. I hope we’ve made the right decision 🙈! We don’t pick it up until end of November!
Good luck with your search!!
