Nausea really getting me down

I’m 13+2 today and feel constantly nauseous. It’s not horrendously bad (I can go about my day, though it takes a lot of effort!) but it is really draining and preventing me from getting stuff done at work and around the home. I’m sure I read that the sickness is meant to ease off at around 12 weeks - do you think mine could disappear soon?

Also, does anyone have any tips on how to deal with it? I’m eating/snacking regularly but don’t know what else to do...

Hiya lovely, i was the exact same.. only in the last few days do i feel better (im 13+5) my house has been a mess for weeks, just go easy on yourself dont worry about any of that, give yourself a break!

I found eating whatever i fancied the best too, it gave me something to look forward to. Also a cup of tea in the morning to settle the stomach! Carried a water bottle everywhere with me too, hope it gets better soon x

Thanks asmv. I do find milk helps a bit, but not enough! DH wants to go out for a roast later and even just the thought of it is making me feel sick Sad It's funny, about two weeks ago I had around six days where I barely felt nauseous at all, but it seems to have come back with a vengeance!

I'm 15+6 and still feeling nauseas. My midwife said most people are better by 15 weeks Sad Im now coping on one anti sickness tablet a day (down from 3) but when I tried to stop taking them completely I felt awful. Lemonade is the only thing that actually helps with my nausea.
I really help you feel better soon x

I feel your pain I've been signed off with severe nausea and sickness taking anti sickness tablets which are helping with the nausea as well (apart from today where I've just thrown my lunch up)

Talk to your gp. I did (well cried down the phone!!) and they were fab

I am 14+2, and for me it’s gone from being completely horribly nausesous every waking hour with the occassional break (while eating) to almost the other way round where I feel mostly ok (not great but ok) but sometimes grim again. It’s a slow process and not overnight for me.
What I hold onto is I went on holiday at 20 weeks with my first pregnancy and I don’t think I felt sick or particularly tired at any point.
Nothing has helped me though in this rough time... sleep... food.... lots of moaning

Thanks for the replies. I’m stressing out about the state of the house but can’t find the energy/inclination to do anything except lie in bed this afternoon!
