Increase in movement- cause for concern?

We all know the count the kicks and movements matter campaigns... I've always associated it with reduced movements though.

I'm 35 weeks, and since yesterday baby's movements have increased in frequency and strength. No real change to diet and although I'm diagnosed with GD blood sugars have been in range and pretty steady.

Is this pretty normal? Like baby repositioning meaning I'm feeling more (high anterior placenta so used to fluctuations) or would you be concerned?
Still moving at usual stimuli (like DD chatting to it).

I'd get it checked out, might just be a change in position but just to rule out baby being in distress or anything.

Any change should be checked out so give them a call or go in.

Yes, get it checked - I went in for this a few weeks ago and it did turn out to be just re-positioning, but they told me it could have been an early sign of labour and said I did the right thing in going in.

I've been in because of baby moving loads. They were super lovely to me and assured me after monitoring that all was well and if I ever worried to give them a call. "that's what we are here for".
