You should both definitely look at 'Bump' by katie evans. My midwife recommended it and I loved it, hilarious illustrations, up-to-date evidence based advice, easy to read. 'Pregnancy for men' is a light-hearted one for Dads, or 'Men Love and Birth' by Mark Harris is a hugely informative one for Dads about their role in pregnancy and birth.

Both me and DH found First Time Parent by Lucy Atkins very helpful. It’s mainly about the first six months rather than pregnancy/birth but I feel much less clueless about that side of things now I’ve read it. Only 3.99 on Kindle at the moment too.

Anything by Sarah Ockwell-Smith.

And nothing about ‘helping babies sleep’

Join some Facebook groups such as ‘Normal Biological Infant Sleep’ and ‘Gentle Parenting’ they are great and full of information.

'How to have a baby' by Natalie Meddings also 'the positive birth book' by Milli hill.

The ones I mentioned focus more on labour and birth- they're brilliant.
