Hello, just need to express this somewhere.
I've done 2 pregnancy tests, both positive. Here's the catch, I was sterilised 20 years ago and I'm 48 and thought my missed period was the beginning of menopause. (all others are very regular as I follow a moon schedule)
I am in total shock

Why is it a disaster? The o/p hasn’t said it’s an unwanted pregnancy..

Yes I got to the doctor and they examined me etc and sent me to the hospital. I'm going to tell him on the weekend as life is a, but quieter then.

Why did they send you to the hospital?

Sterilised women who are pregnant have a much higher risk of ectopic pregnancy. Hence the hospital. I'm horrified BTW, no change there but I have stopped crying.

You must be in shock OP. Did the hospital scan you? Have they ruled out an ectopic?

I take it from you last post that it is not an ectopic pregnancy?
