Congratulations! I'm 45 and 22 weeks pregnant. There's quite a thread of us older ladies on here... If only I could remember what it was called... Baby brain!

Also there is a geriatric mum's Facebook group which is apparently excellent, though I've yet to join, as like you, I haven't actually gone public officially.

Though people are starting to look at me strangely, I can see they're caught in that - is that menopause fat or a baby- thought process!!

Mine was a total suprise too...

"Any older expectant mum's out there?" Thread.

Lots about the triple and harmony tests which you might find useful

Congratulations! I had my little girl at 42. Tiring but wonderful. Your teen will hopefully be a wonderful help. I wish I could have more but my one is enough to deal with! I’d have no issues with having 2 more 😨

Congratulations. Slightly different but my mum had me at 17 then my youngest sister at 33 so big age gap but I've always been able to help with baby sitting! Also my mum said the older she got she had more patience bringing my younger sister up

babsyB1978 · 04/10/2019 08:18

how great that all the siblings with years apart work out so well, I have actully the same, my little sister is 19 years older than me and we have a great relationship.

i just called my doctor and asked for an appointment, I think the ting I am most scared of is a miscarriage, maybe beacuse I think this is my last chance... hmm but I will try to not be scared about that, since the last time everything went so well... even if its 15 years ago.

Where do you find “mum-groups” for similar due-date or month? :)
