I'm 24 weeks and we've decided not to find out the sex and I'm very happy with our decision. However, I have had a strong feeling from the beginning that we're having a boy. I'm sure I've read somewhere that something like 75% of mothers are correct if they have this kind of gut feeling. So I'm just interested really - Did you feel like you knew and were you right?

My first I just knew she was a girl from the minute I saw that line. I just knew it! We had it confirmed at 20 weeks.

2nd I knew was a boy, again I juat knew it, we didn't find out and he was a boy.

3rd I knew again was a boy, adamant, bought blue bits, didn't find out at the scan....SHE came out a girl! Completely shocked my partner and I, we were adamant she was a boy as the pregnancy was identical to my previous boy pregnancy.

Now 38weeks with baby 4....haven't found out,no idea what we are having. Pregnancy is exactly identical again to pregnancy 2&3....pregnancy 3 taught me that we never know, it was obviously just a very good guess the first two times.

Not me I was wrong both times!

I thought a boy with my first until the scan then was convinced it was a girl as thought I saw the nub forking at the end and she looked like a girl lol. Was a girl but if I hadn't read about nun theory wld still have thought boy.

With my second pregnancy felt a bit different and just felt like it would be a boy. Was shocked when she said it was a girl 😂🙈

I was wrong all three times Grin

So many people I know were convinced and they were wrongGrin makes it more exciting!

lilbumblebee · 05/10/2019 23:55

With my first, I thought girl and everyone thought boy and lo and behold, when baba was born she was a little madam.

This little one which is due in November ans I initially thought boy, no real reason why, but now I'm not so sure! Just makes it exciting although we're up shit creek if it's a girl as we can't seem to agree on a name! 🙈

Yes I 'knew' we were having a boy. Luckily my daughter didn't care the nursery was blue.

Actually reminds me, when pregnant with my second and third (4 years apart) I lived in a small town where I would often see the same faces around. I ran into an old man at the supermarket one day who came up to me and said 'that's a boy in there'. I hadn't found out so had no clue myself but it turned out he was right. 4 years later and pregnant again, same man, same supermarket came up and said 'oh another boy'. He was right again.

Didn’t find out in either pregnancy

First time from the day and hour I found out I was pregnant I was convinced I was having a boy. He was/is.

Second time I wasn’t at all sure but felt it was more likely to be a girl. He was/is another boy

whitetoblerone · 06/10/2019 10:18

My friend and I were pregnant at the same time. I found out what I was having but she didn't. She was convinced she was having a boy but I knew she wasn't, I don't know why I knew, maybe because we were carrying completely differently!

She has a beautiful daughter!

Notnowokay · 06/10/2019 13:34

I'm only six/ five weeks now and I think I'm carrying a girl. Dh said it is going to be another boy. One thing is for certain, I'm terrible at guessing. So far I got it wrong three times and dh was right. It is 50/50 so I still have a chance of being right this time.
