27 weeks feeling weird

Hi currently 27+4 for the last few days I've been having a few period pains on and off throughout the day that generally subside. This morning I feel nauseous but not like I'm actually gonna be sick, I've got a slight feeling over pressure down below and in my bum area and have a stitch like pain across my belly. Baby is moving as normal. I'm also having back pain but I am also suffering from pregnancy related sciatica and pelvic pain so this could be related to that. I called my midwife who said could be something could be nothing and to just monitor for now. Just wondering if anyone had suffered anything similar and whether it was something or was just one of those pregnancy things.

@Wornoutandexhausted I don't have any answers for you but I just want you to know I could have written your post. I'm 27 weeks today and have all that you described bar the sciatica, plus a fluey/warm feeling. Going to call the midwife at lunch time but will probably be told to monitor as baby is moving as usual! Please know you're not alone.

I've been suffering this for several weeks now and thankfully nothing has come of it for me. I find it gets worse the more active I am, and generally settles once I've taken some paracetamol and put my feet up for a bit. Obviously do keep an eye on it though and any concerns do make sure you contact someone

Update... ended up going to MAC unit all was well with the baby it's the sciatica and spd which are causing the pressure and pain and lucky for me (NOT) I was told it'll more than likely continue to get worse as I get bigger

Well, at least that’s good news for baby if not so much for you!!

I’ve had bad SPD since quite early on. If it is causing you lots of pain and/or making things difficult then I’d definitely recommend speaking to your midwife about it and getting a physio referral - my physio has been brilliant and really helped to reduce pain/increase mobility.

Thanks. I'm already under the physio lots of exercises to do and they seem to work to relieve some pain until I actually need to move about again.
