What do i need to keep my baby (due Dec) warm exactly? I'm panicking and don't know what to get so probably getting too much of the wrong things.

Should i get long sleeved or shirt sleeved vesty things? Jumpers? Blankets?

Always remember your baby will feel cooler than you, but they can also over heat. Make sure you have a variation of everything! Vest, top and cardigan. Hat for breezy and cold days. You'll figure it out!

I used short sleeves and long sleeved vests for november baby. The general rule is one more layer than you're wearing.
We also found the tuppence and crumble fleece star an absolute godsend for when we were out. Babies can't wear thick coats while in car seats (makes it unsafe) but obviously having to take a coat off a baby in freezing weather isn't ideal. The star fleece saved us the hassle.

What temperature is your house? Babies mormally need one layer more than you. Definitely a hat and coat or snowsuit for outdoors, depending on whether your pram has a cosy toes etc. Lots of variables! Don't buy lots now.

I had a November baby, and a January baby, and a very cold cottage which was a nightmare to heat.

I dressed mine in a short sleeve vest, baby grow over the top, then a cardigan or fleecy top. They had snowsuits, but neither were great fans, they seemed more comfy in a fleecy coat, and then blankets. Definitely hats.

Inside is often warmer in winter than in spring and summer.

The thing is that i get cold result and tend to wear more layers than most people..

Usually a t shirt or thick thermal long sleeved vest, a long sleeved top, a woolly jumper and a big over jumper on top and if i go out, a winter coat on top.

Most people i know just wear a top and a jumper not several jumpers.

I was thinking a body suit thing for under, a sleep sit out whatever and a cardigan? I defo prob need more cardigans.

How many men things? Would a new born be ok in a bigger jumper thing?

I tend to over think and worry.

My first was a November baby. She wore short sleeve vests under full leg and arm onesies, with socks on under the onesie. We put cardigans over this and that's pretty much what she wore till the summer. Our most used cardigan was made out of the same t-shirt material as her vests and onesies.
When we went out she wore a fleece star wrap by tuppence and crumble with an extra blanket or pram cover if needed.

Really depends how often you will take them out of the house when it’s cold. Keep a mixture because if the central heating needs to stay on then the baby may be okay just in a short sleeved vest
