29 weeks - excess movement or just less space?

Hi all, I'm 29+2 and for a few days have been feeling so much movement from baby, usually I barely get anything sat at my work desk but today I can feel her shifting. My question is, is this worth calling MW for or is it likely she's just changed position and I'm feeling her more?

Any midwives I've spoken to have always said that if there are any changes in movement to call.
It's only a phone call and they won't be bothered by it at all.
It's likely that it's nothing as they only get you to start recognising patterns and spotting changes from 28 weeks onwards and you are still only 29
Baby could still be settling into a pattern or like you said, shifting position as its uncomfortable. But always safer to call them if you are even the slightest bit concerned.

The movements do change from the kicks to more big shifts, in my experience that's normal as they get bigger. However, what's normal for one person isn't for another so always call if you're worried.

Increased as well as decreased movement needs to be checked out. I had this around 30 weeks, to the point where my ribs were really sore from what felt like continuous movement for 24 hours. It turned out I had cholestasis and needed treatment and monitoring for the rest of the pregnancy. There's nothing online about increased movement, it's all referring to decreased movement being a sign something is wrong. Even a lot of the anti natal staff I encounter said it was a good sign, but once I saw a doctor they said it's a change in movement you need to look out for. Along with the movement, my feet got itchy at night...but nothing major. Trust your instincts, because I felt like by baby was distressed and that's why she was so active.

Im 32wks & my movements did change at about 27wks from big kick jabs to more stronger slower movements where i feel which part of her is moving.
If u feel your baby less then id contact your midwife but also they say if your baby is moving more then contact your midwife too , im one of the lucky ones who has a baby that moves alot & as soon as i put my hand on my tummy she moves.
If your having alot more movement then i would phone just see what they say,im sure its fine but its best to check but to put your mind at ease i have felt more movement as my baby has gotten bigger xx

Thanks everyone - I think I'll monitor for now, I've just gotten home from work so I can sit and concentrate on her movements. If she doesn't stop then I'll call the MW or I'll just keep monitoring and see if a new pattern emerges!
