Transverse baby

Any help grateful. At 32 weeks pregnant I was put in a for a scan and they noticed the baby was transverse. I also have a anterior placenta. They have asked me to come back at 35 weeks to check the position. I am 34 now and he still hasn't moved despite trying everything. It's almost as if he is stuck above the placenta. Has anyone else had this and what was the outcome? I dont know if I am too high risk to manually move him and if so when they will do a c section?

My baby was transverse from about 30 weeks. Eventually turned breech but with feet down towards my cervix (footling breech). Apparently this can be a dangerous position with a risk of cord prolapse if you go into labour naturally. So I had an elective section at 38.6, baby was fine. A section was my preference anyway so I didn't ask about turning - I think it's hard with a transverse lie.

Meant so say, my placenta was anterior too.

I’m not as far along as you ladies but I had a private scan at 16 weeks and was transverse. He was still transverse at my 20 week scan. I’m 22+5 now. My placenta is at the back. Im already booked in for a section anyway so not too worried. I have no idea if he’s moved or not. But did you feel much movement? I don’t overly feel much and I’m wondering if it’s due to his position? X

My last pregnancy he laid transverse from really early on until about 37 weeks and he had turned head down. So it is possible baba can change very last minute 😂 which i was glad for xxx

Two out of my three were transverse and I had elective caesarean at approx 38 weeks.

Thank you everyone. We had a little scare last night due to cramping, stomach pains and diarreah. Saw the midwife and she has confirmed it's due to him turning on his own accord head down. The pains were not easy to deal with but over the moon he has moved. Hopefully he now stays put!

Just to hijack - are you more likely to have a transverse or breech baby with an anterior placenta?
