Guess I’m looking for a hand hold.

I’m supposed to be 9+1 weeks pregnant with a very much wanted and desperate for ivf baby.

Yesterday I woke up and had some bleeding. It was bright red and only when I wiped at first. Then it turn to dark red probably about a tablespoon or so. There were two clot like bits in the tissue but very small. Looked like when you loose lining on a period. Throughout the day it got lighter and when to a brown discharge type and remained light brown.

I have felt sick for the past week and boobs have been bigger and painful. This has stopped yesterday and today. Don’t feel as tired either. I have had no more bleeding today. Mild cramping but nothing major and haven’t needed pain killers.

I phoned the EPAU yesterday and they want me to go for a scan tomorrow, earliest they could do.

I am on progesterone pessaries that are inserted with a long applicator vaginally. I’m praying I’ve ‘caught’ something with the applicator but it’s the combined lack of symptoms really worrying me.

I just can’t help thinking that’s it’s all over. We saw at heartbeat at 7+1 but now I’m thinking it’s not progressed. Trying to keep it out my head but I can’t. It’s going to be a long 19 hours.

Good luck today - unfortunately it wasn't a good sign for me - I had bleeding without cramps with a couple of clots and then nothing for several days but then had bad news at my 12 weeks scan

Any news @Whatelsecouldibecalled
Hoping for good news xx

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 02/09/2019 18:29

Sorry for updating late but yes good news! Baby looks good heart beat looking good! Nurse was so lovely. I’m so relived. She said she could see where the bleed has come from as all round baby looked ok. Thought maybe irritated cervix with the pessaries.

Thank you for all your support!!!

That’s brilliant news! Just to add, I bleed during pregnancies, I think with me it’s been chorionic which apparently are really common early on and not generally a problem, it can take a while for the blood to come out - gravity I guess!

visitorthedog · 02/09/2019 18:33

*chorionic hematomas

Sorry post should have said nurse couldn’t see where bleed had come from. They couldn’t see cervix as it was external

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 02/09/2019 19:21

Jesus! The scan was external not the cervix!! I think the relief has gone to my head!!!! Blush

Op I had exactly the same at the same stage in my ivf pregnancy (now nearly 31 weeks). It was terrifying but like you all was well and it was my cervix. It did take a week for bleeding to totally stop and after 2 days of compete rest

Good luck!

Lollypop701 · 02/09/2019 21:20

Hi everyone I'm sorry to push in like this I was just looking for some helpful advise please I'm currently 6+1 weeks pregnant and I had a bit of a scare last week and had an early scan at 5+4 I had an vaginal ultrasound and saw the tiniest of a sac they took my blood and did a hcg test and it came back as 145 the lady told me that it was very low number and she asked me to come back 2 days later so I had another blood test and it had doubled to 315 so I was really happy as the nurse said that it was a good sign that it had doubled but she did say that it was still very low even at that so she liked me in for a scan which was today at 6+1 and she said the sac had gotten much bigger but it was empty so she has told me not to worry as I did have my dates wrong bit I know I don't I know my last period was 6 weeks ago so she has booked me in for another scan in 2 weeks I'm be 8 weeks I'm sorry about the long confusing post but I just feel like everything is going to turn out badly please someone tell me something positive I really need to hear it.....also I've booked my self in for a private scan Tuesday I'm be 7 weeks cos I knew the wait would kill me do you all think I'm having a blited ovum? Also my progesterone levels we 61.00 nmol I don't know what that means thank you for reading and good luck and god bless with your pregnancy'sSmile

BarbaraD · 02/09/2019 22:39

Sorry I misspelled some of the words in my post I meant I do know when my last period was and it was the nurse that said I did have gotten my dates wrong thanks Smile

PrayingandHoping · 03/09/2019 07:29

@BarbaraD you may just have ovulated later than u thought which is why your dates aren't quite right

Fingers crossed for you

mommato3 · 03/09/2019 10:25
