Hello. I’m looking for a nightie I can breastfeed in to take into hospital with me. Last time I was in having my daughter they made me feel stupid for not going in with a button down one. However all ones with buttons seem to have long or short sleeves which I know I won’t be comfortable in as I get too hot in bed easily. I usually wear vest top and shorts in all weather.

Vest style nighties with front opening don’t seem to exist and the only specific breastfeeding ones I’ve seen look really low cut (my boobs have exploded so I need decent cover up!)

Wondered if anyone has seen such a thing. Feel like I’ve looked everywhere!

Have you looked at Happy Mama? They have a few different nursing nightwear options.

To be honest I'm taking shorts and vests. I got a set of PJ's from JoJo Maman Bebe for DD1 which consisted of shorts and a nursing vest, and this time I've picked up a couple of pairs of PJ shorts in the M&S sale and am pairing with a combination of nursing vests and bog standard vests from H&M.

With maternity pads etc and the inability to move gracefully in and out of bed, I felt far happier in shorts and a vest than I would have a nightdress.

I'm pretty sure I had an advert pop up on my fb for Dorothy Perkins that had nursing nighties. They had an extra section on top that you lift up instead of having to lift the whole nighty.

Primark have button down ones. Although the have a short sleeve but if you are desperate they sell them. I also took in big baggy tshirts and just took them off as needed.

I had two strappy nursing nighties from Mothercare. Don't worry about them being low cut as your massive nursing bra will provide ample coverage!!

Mothercare have the strappy breastfeeding ones.

But if you could go with a short sleeve button up you can get them from pretty much everywhere and they are cheaper too.

Given the temperature in a maternity ward just wear a normal breastfeeding vest to sleep in. Doesn't need to be night wear anyway.

I'm going nursing bra, cheap strappy cami vest from Primark that can just be pulled down, and PJ bottoms.

Primark have some strap nighties in at the minute with adjustable straps. So you can loosen the strap and pop a boob out over the top if you feel comfortable doing so
