Getting a bit ahead of myself here.. but I think I got a positive test this morning, but pregnancy TBC by a hopefully incoming BFP.
Anyway, I am going to a music festival at the weekend, for the weekend, where I was usually be drinking copious amounts of cider and I know the first whiff of not drinking my DSister would suss me out.
Just looking for your best excuses which you used before announcing your pregnancy.

I get terrible migraines so I would say that I was coming off the back of one and didn’t want it to come back! Worked a charm - not as obvious as antibiotics (I am always instantly suspicious) but a legit medical thing that people understand necessitates no drinking.

Honestly, no one believes the excuses. Someone always figures it out, well over a weekend anyway, someone will surely start digging.

I would just either fake drink or tell your sister.

I was on antibiotics on a night out once, not even the slightest chance of pregnancy and still had "Oooh come to a nightclub and not drink ay"

Still hungover from going out last night. That one often derails suspicion.

Accept the first cider gladly. Don't drink it (or do, it's unlikely to do any harm at this stage)

No one really keeps track of what you are drinking after the first drink as long as you don't make a fuss about not drinking.

Fake drinking is much easier than people questioning you.

I'm with @tiintoon in this, start prepping now for it, say you're under the weather, fake doctors appointment, on tablets and then you could also throw in a bit of fake drinking too for good measure on day 2.

Soda water masquerading as a G&T

Antibiotics - Metronidazole for toothache. It would make you vomit badly if you drink alcohol so it must be strictly avoided. A good lie is in the details.

Forgot to add, we went to some champagne reception thing and I'd take a sip of my glass and he'd swap my full glass for his empty one. Luckily I was driving 😂

I also made him take shots for me 😂😂
