Hi All

I'm 28+4 weeks and a bit concerned about the type of movements I'm getting with this LO. he seems to shiver and twich alot which I don't remember at all with DS1 (he just used to punch me!). I feel the usual wriggles, stretches, punches and kicks too but the shivery movements are starting to worry me a bit. Are they normal???

I remember getting twitching movements, I think that as you get further on the twitching movements will make way for the good big kicks and things that we're all more familiar with!
don't forget, if you're worried mention to your mw.

Hi

You sure he doesnt have hiccups? My little one makes loads of jumpy movements very close together, mw said hiccups.

Thanks both, maybe I just don't remember them with DS1

Sometimes they do feel like hiccups other times its more like he's running really really fast on the spot, others it definitely feels like a shiver. Weird! Think I might mention to mw

Pheebe, I'm getting them too if that helps. I'm 24 weeks now. It hadn't occurred to me to worry about it until now. Getting lots of kicks too. At least I know he's moving about.

Hi MrsWizz

Sorry if I've worried you, I just find them strange as I don't remember them with DS1. I'm sure I'm just being overly paranoid with this one

Has no one else ahd experience of this?

I'm 30+2 and I've had the shivering type thing as well. I'm not too worried about it. From what I've read it's pretty normal, to do with an immature nervous system, waking up, that sort of thing.
