Hi everyone, this is my first post.

I already have a little boy who is 17 months and am expecting baby number 2. I am currently 6 weeks pregnant. We tried for 11 months to get pregnant both times.

3 days ago I noticed brown spotting in my knickers. My midwife got me an appointment for a scan. The sonographer said there was no fetal pole yet but there was the yolk sac, and she thinks I am early than I thought. I have to go back in 2 weeks for another scan. She said the blood is old blood probably from implantation.

The brown blood has got darker today and I've had seen 2 bits of tissue about 1mm wide and 3mm long. I'm so so so scared that I'm slowly losing the baby. Can anyone offer me words of hope to keep me going?

Oh no I am so sorry to hear that things haven't turned out well - I thought you'd seen the heartbeat on the scan? I really am so sorry to hear that - I know this must be a really horrid time for you. I hope you're getting all the support you need Smile

Yes we did, and then that afternoon I started with red bleeding. They seen me again 2 days later and everything was fine. Then 3 days after that I had a big gush of blood and went to a&e. The doctor there said it looked like I was miscarrying. I had a scan on Wednesday and there was no heartbeat.

They have given me medication to make my body pass it, but its not worked yet. It's awful, I just want to move on. I am going back tomorrow to see what else they can do now.

@nicola18737 I'm so sorry to hear that you've had to go through this. I hope the hospital are doing all they can to help you, and that you're being supported. You will get through this and it will end. Will be thinking of you x
