So over the past 2 weeks I’ve had a really heavy cold which I thought had finally gone, I have asthma and that always plays up when I’m ill however today my usual morning sickness of throwing up once and then feeling fine felt different, I was sick 4 or 5 times with about half hour intervals until I fell asleep, when I woke up my asthma was bad, chest was tight, and i had pains in my chest and back when breathing deeply, hours later none of these have subsided at all, in fact I think my chest hurts worse.

I’m 11w+3 and am just worried about waiting till Monday for a doctors appointment, but hate wasting hospital time! Any opinions?

Agree with 111

I would ring the NHS line for advice.

What’s your peak flow? Have you upped your steroid dose? Personally I would avoid A&E if at all possible on a Friday evening, especially when pregnant but I would definitely speak to 111 and see if there is an out of hours alternative. Not because of the pregnancy really but because of your asthma.

You can call 111 but I think they will advise hospital, hope you get sorted quickly and feel better soon.

111 should be able to give you an appointment with the out of hours GP, they can refer you to hospital if they think you need it.

111 may be able to help get an out of hours GP appointment, depending on the type of pain you're having in your chest. If it's a heavy pain, you will be advised to go to A&E. Regardless of pregnancy, chest pain should always be checked and if you're questioning if you need to be seen at A&E then the odds are you do.
From what you've described, it sounds like you could have an infection and so increased temperature which needs to be dealt with due to risks to you and baby.
Fingers crossed for you and hope you feel better OP.
