Sciatica and pelvic pain

Anyone else struggling? I'm 35+3 and have been crippled by both for weeks now. I already have weekly physio in the water, girdle, tubigrip, massage, stretching, sleeping with weird pillows and no dice.

It's now so bad that it hurts to drive as the vag pain is unbearable when using the clutch and a shooting pain in my right bum cheek causes my right leg to buckle underneath me without warning whilst walking.

Any hints / tips gratefully received! I had my dd last year at 35+2 so I'm now in unchartered water and worried about it all getting worse as I continue on.

I don't have any hints of tips, just that I feel your pain literally. I normally love going walking (20k or more steps a day) but cam barely get around the local park at the moment. The pain is unbearable. Us the physio nhs or did you have to pay private?
I was hoping it'd sort itself out but it's got worse so.I think I'll have to tell the consultant at my next visit. I'm sorry you're also in this pain and also that I'm no help.

Hi, I got it all on the nhs, but it hasn't made any difference if I'm honest. I'm supposed to be resting, but that's extremely difficult with a 14 month old and a small dog! I also get bored very quickly when not doing anything. They've given me some crutches, but again, they are impossible to use for the above reasons. I'm also not entirely sure they help if I'm honest. Just taking paracetamol and crossing my fingers every day that it doesn't hurt as bad. Sorry you're in the same position, if sucks doesn't it. Apparently when we have the babies the pain will go. Here's hoping.

Try sitting on a tennis ball on your right buttock, maybe on something padded so it's not so sore! The piriformis muscle is there and the sciatic nerve runs through it, when it gets tight it presses on the nerve. So common but the ball might help get some relief! Be gentle as it's sore!!
