Help my baby is transverse

So I have a heart shaped womb and my baby is lying in the transverse position. I am 29+4 and it's so painful to lie down or even walk at times.

Does anyone have experience of this and how to get comfy so I can get some sleep? Most nights I have to try and sleep sitting up as thats the only way to ease the pain slightly.

All advice and shared experiences appreciated ❤️

Look
At the spinning babies website they have lots of exercises to move baby from one position to another

@Mintypea5 thank you but because of the shape of my womb I've been told that it's very unlikely she will be able to move now but I will give it a go Smile

They have a section on it but it might not be too helpful says before 30 weeks.

Sounds awful! My baby is transverse atm and killing my PGP so can only imagine how painful it is for you. Has your midwife been able to offer any advice?

I'm the same as you 33weeks heart shaped womb and a breech baby. I've been told if baby hasn't moved by 36weeks they'll have to book a csection as they cant turn the baby. I've been trying different things to try and move baby, nothings working. As for comfort I sleep with 2 pillows then have another 2 under my hip and bum area and a body pillow between my legs. It's only made things a little better. The birth ball does help for a little bit sitting on it going back and forth figure of 8 also with the support of dp lying back on it so theres some pressure on my lower back and making small movements in that position

Er don’t do any exercises to try and move the baby. Having a heart shaped womb you don’t want to take any risks. To alleviate the pain can get a big maternity pillow that can be used for nursing too, and try and hook a leg over it when you sleep. Usually helps me when the baby feels like it’s laying transverse. If the pain worsens or anything doesn’t feel right, definitely speak to your ADAU or Midwife unit - you don’t want to mess around.
