I know they say no deli meat but is this considered deli meat? I wouldn't consider it typical deli meat because its not from a butcher. I had a couple roast beef sarnies...

No deli meat is advice given to women in the USA. In the UK it’s safe to eat cooked meats, just steer clear of anything cured eg uncooked chorizo.

I've still been eating ham! The NHS advice is basically to avoid all uncooked meat. That includes cured meat such as salami etc. The website will explain it better then me but it's just to reduce the risk of catching toxoplasmosis which although rare can be really damaging or even fatal to babies.

Anything cooked is fine 😊

I continued to eat salami... to be honest I think you’re just as or more likely to catch Ecoli off a lettuce leaf but they don’t advise you to avoid veg because I guess eating vitamin rich food is more more important than reducing that risk?? I thought the same about eggs as well - who’s ever really caught salmonella off a lion stamped egg?? - and then low and behold just after I got pregnant they changed that rule and runny lion eggs were considered fine (I would have eaten them anyway). You want to reduce risks obviously, but I wouldn’t get too bogged down with it all - enjoy your ham!
