Kick Counting

Do any of you use an app for kick monitoring?

I am getting to the point where I should be recognising patterns, but not really tracking anything officially...I would just be aware if I wasn’t getting booted for a period of time. It occurred to me that I should be tracking it (for the MW?) and wondered if my phone might prove a useful gadget for this

I’m still working full time and have got a pretty chaotic schedule, so relying on my increasingly fuzzy brain is probably not particularly sound!

Yeah ive just started using one,i like using it,i found mine through the NHS website the app is kicks count. Mothercare also do one but wasnt as good.
Counting kicks is a good way to spot if something could be wrong could save your baby so its worth it.
Because u are working maybe best to do it at break times & once u are at home chilling ,maybe in the morning before work, then when u are at work just look out for kicks unless u can use your phone at work then id use it all day.x

The idea was that if I had an app on my phone, I could probably use it at work. I have my phone (sadly) with me all the time!

I’ll have a look. Thank you

I used the Kicks Count app. They're a fantastic charity, you should check out their information/advice :)

I had a look at the advice and the info, and was all up for the app, but it seems to have really terrible reviews, losing data etc

I had a kicks count bracelet, think it was about a fiver. Just swivel it every time you feel a movement to get an idea of how many kicks/movements you should be feeling a day until you start to notice a pattern.

I've got an anterior placenta so have been warned I'll feel her less but I always feel her within 10 mins of waking up, every night at 10.30 and about 5-6 times throughout the day. Before long you just "know" if you've not felt them move in the normal timeframe.
