Best time to have early scan?

Currently 4+2 with #3 and wondering what the best time to go for a early private scan is?

I just want reassurance due to 3 early m/c and one missed m/c.

Don't want to go too early but not sure I can wait until 8 weeks.

After 8 weeks is the best time I think because chances of miscarriage when seeing a heartbeat after 8 weeks substantially drops.
We went at 7+5 but the longer you can leave it the better as it may not provide the reassurance you want if it's too early.

After 8 weeks is definitely best.

You might get a heartbeat at 6 or 7 but you might not and then you would be in the same position as now but £40 lighter and more worried.

plus a heartbeat seen at 5 or 6 weeks means very little, I know loads of people who saw heartbeats at 6 week scans and went on to lose.

My place told me a heartbeat would be seen after 7 weeks.

That would be another month to wait unless I go for one at 6 - 7 weeks and then another after 8 weeks 🤔

Tests are showing strong line and have got symptoms so that's positive.

I was told best to wait until 8 weeks or ideally 9 weeks, because the chance of mc falls markedly after 9 weeks.

I know it’s really hard, but at the same time I think I’d be heartbroken to go for a scan too early and see a heartbeat and everything looking fine, only to mc a week later.

Fingers crossed all goes well with yours OP.
