Hi all, as per title. 23 weeks tomorrow, and this evening I'm not feeling any movements whereas baby is usually active once I've gotten into bed. Is this a worry at this point or is it too early?

Not too early if you are already used to a regular pattern.

Not sure if they will hook you up to the monitor until 24 weeks however please do ring triage still if for nothing, advice.

They may still hook you up or at least listen in with a Doppler. You know your baby best. If movements have decreased please please please call your midwife or triage xxx

Also try drink a very cold drink and lay on your left. They may tell you to do this then ring back if still nothing.

I was advised to do this on many occasions with DS1

Call the number on the back of your book for midwife advice.

Any change in movement, either too much or too little should always be discussed x

Have you tried the usual cold water, laying on side and sugar? If so call midwife or your labour unit. They checked me out at 23 weeks for reduced movements and it was really reassuring. They told me to call anytime I felt a reduction. Rather get checked and it be nothing

I've just had an ice cold fizzy drink (sugary too!) and I'm laying on my left. How long do I wait to see if this wakes her up??

Ended up in hospital until 3am! They checked baby's heartbeat and even did a scan, baby seems happy and healthy but I have to monitor for a few days and report back. Thanks to everyone for their help!
