Supposed to be travelling to London at this point. Flight is just over an hour and I've travelled up and down a few times in this pregnancy - the most recent being at 23 weeks.

It's not an essential meeting but a team planning day so given I'm finishing up shortly afterwards I could excuse myself but would quite like to go.

We have to book flights way in advance to keep costs low so need to do our ASAP.

What would the main considerations be when flying at this point? My main concern is being refused passage on the way home (second baby and I'm definitely larger than first time round). I know I'd also be knackered afterwards but can deal with that. Is it worth it?

I'm flying to a work conference and back in my 30th week of pregnancy. Just check the airline rules and take your notes to prove what gestation you are.

I went on holiday and came back at 31 weeks. I had a fitness to fly note from the doctor, and my maternity notes but wasn’t actually asked for any of it. It was fine.

A none essential team meeting involving air travel though?! If I had an excuse to get out of that then I definitely would!!

You will most likely need a fit to fly note from your GP or midwife. You may be uncomfortable but not too bad if its just a short flight. I did long haul at 34 weeks and just needed to keep well hydrated
