@Jodiebabes91 pregnancy after a loss is so difficult. I'm now 12 weeks after having 3 MCs last year. The anxiety calms a little over time. If you can afford it I would recommend sone extra scans to out your mind at ease. Fingers crossed for you op.

Thank you I’m not sure how you go about I’ve had to self refer myself for a midwife appointment and they won’t be in contact until 3 weeks at least x

@Jodiebabes91 that will be your booking in appointment And then you will be booked in for your 12 week scan. Unfortunately you won't be "entitled" to any additional scans in NHS unless you have any issues such as bleeding or painful cramps which you are concerned about - in which case you can contact your gp to refer you to EPU or in some places you can self refer to EPU. For additional scans you would have to go private unless an issue. There are a lot of scan companies out there. I used the birth company but there are others - the sonographer I had also works for nhs so does it for additional money so they are people that know what they are talking about. If you can wait for your nhs scan though then do but I can understand the worry. Take it easy and try to do some nice things to keep you occupied and reduce the worry- like a pamper session (although careful with massages and always tell them you are pregnant). Remember the odds are in your favour. Sadly many women suffer an MC but the majority go on to have a successful pregnancy

Hi there.

So sorry for your loss and congratulations on your pregnancy. I can totally understand your fear. I suffered a miscarriage at 12 weeks in April 2018, and fell pregnant again in June. I was utterly terrified, but my little girl is now a healthy four month old ❤️
