I’m wondering if the dreaded PG insomnia is setting in!!!
Took me ages to fall asleep last night and probably managed 5 1/2 which I suppose doesn’t sound too bad!
Experiencing a lot more broken sleep though the past few weeks. I do stay in bed and think resting is better than nothing. I did cave last night and picked up my phone 😩 xx

I'm getting about 7, need more but can't fall back asleep & takes ages to get to sleep.
I had insomnia first trimester 4-5 hours I probably got a night

Oh no! I feel your pain, I’m nearly 18 weeks and really struggling with sleep 😴 !
I just cannot get comfortable on my side and either keep waking up with hips/legs aching or wake up on my back as that’s my natural sleeping position! I really hope baby’s okay with all the accidental back-sleeping!
My Fitbit is telling me i’m getting 5/6hours a night over the last few nights!

At 19 weeks with both DC I was sleeping more than 9 hours a night and nodding off at my desk at work. I struggled to stay awake during both pregnancies. It was a problem.
Maybe try some relaxation and wind down techniques an hour before bed. Try and stick to a routine, bath, milky drink and a biscuit, read, get your DP to give you a massage, no screens! I am now suffering insomnia because of peri menopause. It’s awful. I’m trying the above method with varying degrees of success.

@TTc2019BabyNo1- we sound very similar!!!! Sod’s law all my life I have comfortably slept on my side... now all I want to do it sleep on my back 🤔. But I feel bad for bubba so try sleeping on side again 😩.... I also developed a restless leg last night just as I was about to drop off??? I think sleep problems are very very common in pregnancy. I don’t react well to adjustment in hormones. With them being elevated at the moment I don’t think it’s helping. I just cannot wait to have my little boy here... I dread to think the level of worry and anxiety then lol xx
