I'm 6 weeks today and have been having a lot of white cm for the last 10 days or so. But this morning there was this little streak of blood in it Sad
I've got no cramping and there's been nothing worse throughout the day, though occasional very light pink discharge when wiping. I haven't really had any pregnancy symptoms since the beginning, apart from sore boobs which come and go (medium discomfort today). Has anyone else had this and had a positive outcome?

So sorry to those of you who have suffered losses, and that things have been difficult for you @Birchwoods Flowers
It certainly sounds promising that your tests are getting darker. Try not to focus on the age gap - my best friend and her sister are 11 years apart and they're probably the closest siblings I know (and were since childhood)!
Please keep us updated as to how you're getting on.

Some amazingly hopeful stories here too, especially yours @RowingMermaid. That must have been so terrifying! I'm so glad it all went well in the end and now you've got your 13 year old Smile

I haven't had any more bleeding today, not since very first thing. No cramping either. I do feel terribly nauseous and it doesn't sound like what my sister has got after all. All I've had to eat today was one sandwich, which came straight back up! I am currently in bed and it's not even 8pm Blush
Just making sure to drink lots and being looked after by my lovely DH Smile

if it makes you feel better OP - get bloods done at the doctors.

I had a miscarriage first time round,

Second time (i posted before), was more fresh blood, 6 weeks/24 weeks and hemmoraged during birth - im fine - hes fine - but just shows how everyone is different but bloods will show up and also an early internal scan - the dildo cam!! puts your mind at rest its so worth it

RowingMermaid · 17/07/2019 22:03

@QueenOfThePumpkins that 13 year old is my second son, my eldest is 16. I was told I would need IVF to conceive (I have endometriosis) and had been seeing the consultant for 18 months. I became pregnant naturally both times without much trying much to the shock of my gynae and me and Dh! So I do believe in miracles. Smile

It can feel like a complete roller coaster with pregnancy. My sister miscarried her second pregnancy, and I cannot imagine how that feels. So look after yourself. Take one day at a time.

theorchidwhisperer · 17/07/2019 22:09

I bled with my second baby, like a light period each time I would have been due my period.

It was my cervical erosion that was tender and bleeding.

Baby was fine but this happened all through my pregnancy. It scared me silly early on in my pregnancy.

FairyDust92 · 17/07/2019 22:39

I bled at 12 weeks. It was bright red and lots of it. I automatically feared the worse and went for a private scan. I now have a gorgeous son who is now 11 days old 🥰

PocaNinja · 18/07/2019 13:05

Hi Op, how are you doing? Fingers crossed for you.

Your post caught my attention because I am 5weeks + 2days and I’ve had cramping today and spotting/brown blood. My breasts have lost their sensitivity too. I’m currently laying flat hoping that will prevent anything bad from happening when I know that whatever happens will happen.

other posts on here are very reassuring!

QueenOfThePumpkins · 18/07/2019 18:34

Evening everybody, sorry I've been quiet. I went to sleep just after 8pm last night(!!) and then had a busy day at work.

Thanks for all your messages and reassurance, I am so grateful.

Congratulations on your little baby @FairyDust92, that is wonderful to hear Smile

@PocaNinja, from all of the research I've been doing it seems that brown blood is less of a bad sign than red, so try to stay positive. I think looking after yourself is all you can do, but it is hard isn't it :(
Please keep us updated.

I am pleased to say that (touch wood) I've had no more bleeding since 8am yesterday, and I was nauseous again this morning. Keeping my fingers crossed for now, though I have a feeling that my ectropion will play games with me like it did for you @theorchidwhisperer! It is reassuring to hear about your experience, though sorry you had to go through the extra worry. I'm so pleased it worked out well in the end Smile

Looks like the implantation bleeding I experienced with both pregnancies. My sister had a bit of bleeding off and on in early pregnancy and went on to have 2 healthy babies. I would try not to worry.

Purple562 · 20/12/2022 21:00

Hello, sorry I know this is a thread from years ago! I’m currently pregnant and about 6 weeks, just had some light bleeding when I wiped and so, of course, took to google🤦🏻‍♀️. I was just wondering if everything was okay with your pregnancy?

scrambledeggy · 20/12/2022 22:14

Hi @Purple562, I know you are asking OP but I also had bleeding like this at 6 weeks, enough even to soak a pad. If you're worried you can call 111 and try and get an appointment with an early pregnancy assessment unit. They were able to scan me and see a growing pregnancy. That pregnancy is now a lively toddler.

Purple562 · 20/12/2022 22:16

Thank you so much @scrambledeggy, that’s reassuring! I’m already known to early pregnancy unit so going to monitor tonight and call tomorrow or 111 in the night if it progresses!

MinnieFirstTimeMum · 21/12/2022 15:59

@Purple562 please let me know how you get on. I am 6 weeks and have had some light spotting today with cramps for the last 24 hours. I called EPU and they told me to monitor it and go to A&E if the pain/bleeding becomes severe. They have booked me in for a scan before the 12 week scan but not until after Xmas because they had no available appointments beforehand.

Purple562 · 21/12/2022 19:23

@MinnieFirstTimeMum ive got a scan Friday so will update you. So hard and stressful, I hope you’re okay ❤️

MinnieFirstTimeMum · 21/12/2022 19:27

@Purple562 thank you, I have also now booked a scan for Saturday! Fingers crossed we will both be okay 🤞🏻❤️

scrambledeggy · 22/12/2022 09:57

Thinking of you both @MinnieFirstTimeMum and @Purple562
