Anterior placenta movements.

Hey mums!
I've got an anterior placenta, i was wondering when I may feel flutters? With my DD, I felt movements from 15+5, (normal placenta)

I've been feeling these again but really low down, I'm only 14+5, so know it's probably something else as movements are more cushioned by an anterior placenta.

I was wondering if anyone had an anterior placenta with DC2 and when movements started? It's the only time I stop worrying during pregnancy is when I can feel bubba moving and know everything is okay, otherwise I'm a nervous wreck constantly tissue checking and worrying about every twinge. Mummy to 2 angel babies also so naturally anxious!

Thanks guys xx

I can't remember exactly. I had an anterior placenta with both DC. DC1 I felt at around 22/23 weeks. I think DC2 was around 20 weeks.

I had anterior placenta with my first and felt movements around 21/22 weeks I think. It was definitely after the anomaly scan.

Pregnant with dc2 now and have anterior low lying placenta (because this one wants to out do it's big sister at every chance!) and felt movements at about 16 weeks, just little flutters/bubbles type of thing, now 19 weeks and just started getting little pops yesterday although nothing from the outside yet. I'm a tad chunky too so it'll probably still be a while... but feeling anything you can confidently say is baby is so comforting.

I did find first time it took quite a while to feel anything from the outside and I definitely had less than people I know without anterior placentas as I was never kept up at night or particularly uncomfortable because of kicks.

I have an anterior placenta with my second pregnancy. I'm currently 16+2.some evenings I feel slight flutters but sometimes I don't feel a thing.

Mines anterior and I’ve been feeling movements from 20 weeks.
Sometimes mine are less, but that’s when I think she has moved to right next to it. I’m 26 weeks now

Mine was after 20 weeks with my last baby & anterior placenta...I have my placenta at the back this time & I cam really really tell the differance was feeling kicks from 16 weeks & actually seeing lumps move around on my stomach from 18 weeks....Anteriors defo cushion movements.

Around 19 weeks I felt bubbles but only when laying on my left side. Now 23 weeks and still only feel movement when on my side but they are a lot firmer now! Proper kicks

Hey, I have an anterior placenta and like most above it was around week 20/21 that I started feeling proper prods! I didn't feel any flutters before that, just suddenly started feeling little prods either side of my belly button! X

I'm pregnant with twins, one has their placenta behind (rhs) and one has it in front (lhs) I was feeling general flutters around 15w - but wasn't certain they weren't just wind..! Felt actual definite 'that has to be a baby' little movements on the rhs from about 17/18w, then def proper kicks again on the rhs from about 20w... was worried about it all being one sided before my scan, but baby on the lhs was v wriggly too, I just couldn't feel it at that stage. Shortly after I was feeling some movement on the left too, 26w was about when baby got strong enough to properly kick through it! Now (29w) I feel both kicking loads!
