Hi all,

Just wondering what baby bottles everyone is using/going to use for their bubbas?

I was all set to order the Tommee Tippee bottle starter kit which seemed a really reasonably priced kit for what you get but upon ready the reviews I was put off and quite a few complaints about the electric steriliser breaking.

I was looking at others and Avent do a similar kit with microwave steriliser but not as good value for money for what you get. I have heard good things about Mam bottles so wondering to just buy everything separate?

Just curious as to others thoughts and ideas?

I used the nuby bottles and a Milton cold water steriliser. Never had any problems. My daughter took to the nuby bottles straight away and didn't get on with a TT trial bottle we were sent

We bought MAM and their steriliser, also have been given mimijumi bottles. Love the look of both bottles

Dr Brown here, we loved them. Worked a treat with colic. We used a TT steriliser with them, you could do 3 bottles & all the parts in one go..

MAM for us - cured DD's colic in days. Also don't need a steriliser if you have a microwave as they sterilise in there.

We did have the TT steriliser and it did break.

Mam bottles and dummies here. Also had a Tupperware box with Milton tablets when I needed to do any other sterilising. Washed all the bottles at night then shoved in the microwave. Had dummies sitting ready to go in the micro in the morning.
Worked perfectly for us without having a steriliser that could potentially break.

You can also boil dummies to sterilise them.

We loved the mam bottles too. Huge draw for us was you can sterilise them in the microwave if you're away so don't have to take the huge electric steriliser with you. Just made life a lot easier when we went to visit family.

TT Closer to Nature. Yes the steriliser has had issues - ours stopped working at 3 months. However we didn't de-scale it like you're meant to and we were using it at least twice a day in the early stages. It may have continued to live if we had!
