Sac no fetus

I had a scan today, my last period would suggest I was 9weeks + 1 day, however when I have been today for the viability scan she said I was measuring at 6weeks, there was a sac but nothing in it. Which has worried me somewhat!! Is there anyone that's been through similar that could help me!? She referred me to my local hospital to be scanned again in a couple of weeks but now I'm all worried. What if it's gone.

I was in exactly the same position as you I went for an early private scan thinking I was nearly 9 weeks and she said it look like I was only 6, no heartbeat just a sack and to expect the worst 4 days later I went for a scan a EPU and there was a little heartbeat measuring 6+1
I never tracked ovulation but I'm always so regular with periods, I didn't get a positive test until 8 days after I was due but crazy to think they put my dates back 3 weeks!!! It was so difficult to get my head around and seemed like a lifetime to catch up!!! But I'm officially 8 weeks today (still 11weeks in my head) and I've booked another private scan this Friday just to make sure ❤️
I burst out crying when I saw the little heartbeat at hospital so I know exactly how you are feeling!!xx

That's exactly what happened with me!! I'm just so happy and relieved that everything was ok!! It was jumping around so that's brill!! Happy news for us both!! X
