Gift ideas for BFF having a c section

Hi everyone, looking for ideas for my dear friend whose placenta is in the completely wrong spot and needs a c section - not her birth preference at all but she is happy it's the safest option for her and baby.

Is there anything I can give her that would be lovely, or helpful, or a bit of a treat for after the c section op?? (we live in very different cities, I can't be there for her birth)

Thanks!!!

a v-shaped pillow is fab after a c-section, but she may have one already

i haven't ordered from here before but something like this would have been amazing, it's a 2 week ready meal food delivery that's reasonably healthy. I obviously don't know if it would suit your budget but it is a good option if it does x

The belly bandit I found great after my c section it gave an extra reassurance of my scar being kept safe. Some take away vouchers or similar, the first few weeks are hard. Her favourite... whatever her favourite thing is it's nice to try and feel somewhat normal after the op.

A litter picker. Someone bought me one just after a c section and it was amazing! Not having to bend down to pick up muslins or if I dropped something. Pretty useful when breastfeeding too. Got me through those first few weeks...

If she's also breastfeeding, I really benefited from having a pot of all my bits together which could be left next to the sofa/bed day and night. So I had a round seagrass basket with a lid. Inside were breastpads, nipple creams, lipbalm treats like sweets, wrapped cake, muslin, book (feeding is boring at times), phone charger, water etc etc so everything I needed without getting up and down all the time. That allowed me to binge watch box set tv whilst DH was at work with my baby curled up on me. Bliss

Graze box delivery. Or a diy snack food hamper

Oh wow thanks so much everyone, they are fab ideas and definitely not ones I had thought of myself. Anything to help her restricted movement and comfort can only be welcome - the basket, band and pillow ideas are wonderful. The food voucher ideas are fab too, means she can sit and chill and heal with baby without worrying about dinner too. Thanks again!!! 😊

Oh and @neednameinspiration I've just popped the litter picker in my amazon basket, what a rediculously practical (and quite funny) gift to give. Grin
