Hey ladies,

7 weeks pregnant and I am STRUGGLING with my nausea!

When did it stop for everyone else?
Did you find anything helped?

The doc has put me on anti-sickness but I don't find they are doing much.

Help!

Thank u x

Perhaps ask for another anti-sickness pill? I have read that it differs for everyone. A lot get better around 13 weeks. However, some say it goes on later like 16-20 weeks and some until the baby is out! But there are the lucky ones that also never get it.

30 weeks and I’m still throwing up, although it has improved a bit (not every day, just every 3-4 days). If the meds your doctor gave you aren’t working, ask them for a different type, there are a few different ones so should be able to find one that works for you.

What helped for me:
Eating something first thing (got my OH to make me dry toast when he got up)
Adjustable acupressure bands, the Velcro type
Small, beige meals with salt worked for me eg fries, crisps - whatever you are wanting at that minute, just have that, your body will crave what it needs the most so best to give in to it!
If you’re on pregnancy multivits, taking them with food instead of on an empty stomach

16 weeks with both mine. Only thing that eased mine was to just eat something constantly. So I walked around with a Tupperware box carrot, peppers and cucumber 🙈

20 weeks for me! Only thing that helped was constantly snacking

Nausea has so far been at its worst before 8 weeks and after 13 weeks. I find eating helps as does drinking ice cole squash instead of plain water.

I ordered 'seabands' yesterday on amazon and they arrived about an hour ago, so far this is the longest I have gone without feeling like im going to vomit!!

I was goingto post the same sort of thing today. Im almost 7 weeks (I think) and my nausea is crippling me. I am being sick every now and again (when I brush my teeth mainly)
Its the feeling sick I cant cope with, its constant, I dont want to eat ANYTHING, but when food is put in front of me and I eventually force myself to take a bite, I actually feel ok. Maybe I need to find something to snack on constantly too? Cucumber seems like a good shout!

I tried hard boiled ginger sweets today and although they work while im sucking on them, the sickness is instantly back as soon as its finished!

Im praying these bands keep up the good work, I have an hours train journey home - dreading it!!! x

I am so bored of it and I'm just 8 weeks tomorrow. No actual sickness just feeling it all the time. I am so fed up of stressing about what to eat.

Interesting point about the seabands, I have some somewhere I might give them a try!

mumoftwo1988 · 25/06/2019 18:35

I'm 35 weeks and still have nausea not as bad but it's still there

T1ff4ny · 25/06/2019 18:41

Hi, I felt sick constantly until around 13 weeks when it gradually started to fade. I found that eating constantly helped, lots of veggies and nuts. The other thing that really helped me was the NevaSic app, I was sceptical as some reviews said it didn’t work for them at all but it really really helped for me and made my sickness go away for an hour or two. I think it’s like £14 on istore but to check if it worked I tried an antisickness video on YouTube and that worked so I figured buying the app might be worth it and it really was!!

HiJuice · 25/06/2019 19:33

20 weeks it went away (mostly).
Before that, seabands definitely helped. Nothing else really did except eating all the time and avoiding ever getting hungry. Belvoir ginger squash is nice but all these things only help whilst you're actually having them and you can't eat all day and all night!

The sickness stopped at 10 weeks and nausea completely gone by 14 weeks x hope it goes for u soon x
