Currently pregnant expecting my 1st baby so I'm new to all this and I'm unsure still of what signs to look out for that indicates labour could be soon - So just looking for some advice - I'll try keep it short as possible.

I'm 37+4 and over the past few days I've lost a lot of my mucus plug. No bloody show, just the mucus so far. I lost a bit of it a few weeks back but nothing ever came of that, these past few days I have lost a hell of a lot more. Since the middle of last week I've had awful Braxton Hicks every day, without fail. I have read that you can get them pretty much every day as your due date gets closer. Baby has dropped very much, my bump has changed so much everyone's noticing how much I've dropped.

(Sorry if this is tmi) but since last week too, I've had dirroeah pretty much every day. I'm going to the toilet a lot more. I was needing a wee a lot anyway, but lately my bladder is worse I have to wear pads when I'm out just in case. I get loads of pelvic pains and pressure, almost as if baby's really pressing her head down. I've been told she is head down

I've been up this morning since 6 with terrible period like back ache, all down my back going into my bottom, it doesn't ease when I try lay in different positions. I've got a banging headache, and I've been feeling very nauseas this past week too. It's starting to spread across my lower stomach.

I've got gestational diabetes, and I'm group B strep positive, low iron etc.. I've had a bad pregnancy basically, could any of these trigger off early labour or be a reason as to why I'm feeling like this? I know I shouldn't google but I've got all the signs / symptoms of labour possibly starting soon..

so could these Braxton hicks every day, dirrahea, sickness, backaches etc, be signs of early labour possibly starting soon? Any help or advice would be much appreciated thank you Smile
