Am I pregnant?

Hello guys.
I am 3 days away from my period. However I did a ovulation test today and it’s come back with two dark lines! Down below I’ve attacked photos the ones with faint control lines I took them two days ago and they looked like they was starting to turn negative but this morning I took one and lines came back positive and really dark!
Took a pregnancy test and came back negative.
What does this mean? Could I be pregnant?
Don’t understand why they was starting to turn negative then really dark positive x

There are a few scenarios which would give a positive OPK right before your period:

You didn't actually ovulate earlier in the month and your body is gearing up to try again.

You are having an LH surge before your period, not uncommon.

You are pregnant.

Time will tell! Bit early for a pregnancy test at 7dpo - implantation can be as late as 12dpo so you might have to wait a few days for an answer.

Did you post the wrong pic OP? As the pic with the three OPKs you’ve said are ‘dark positive lines’ are all negative. An OPK doesn’t work like a pregnancy test. With a PT even a faint line is positive. With an OPK as we all naturally have some level of LH in our bodies most of the time, the test line has to be as dark or darker than the control line to be positive, that should have been included in the instructions. So unless you mixed photos up, you’ve only posted negative OPKs

BTW my OPKs told me I was pregnant as I took some for fun leading up to my period and they were positive.

@livin do you think there's a chance it could be evaporated line? I just feel like it's too good to be true xx

When did it come up? If it's within three minutes it's good. It has colour so put with your other faint positives it's highly unlikely to be an evap.

Did the line come up within the time limit?

I'm no expert but I would say positive rather than evap, especially if it was within the time frame.

I'd say that's a positive. Do you have another? Hold your wee for a few hours and do it tonight. Time it. If it comes up again it's highly unlikely to be anything other than your early BFP.

@livin okay will do that, how long does it take for evaporated line to show if it was? Is it 15 minutes

I think an evap line shows when the test starts to dry out, so after whatever the time limit is on the instructions.

Can you get to the shops and buy a FRER? They are super sensitive and would give a nice strong line if your strip test is a faint line.

@Newyearsameoldshit yeah I have got a FRER coming tomorrow morning have ordered it on amazon. Clear blue 6 days early test. So will wait for that one to come in the morning then when I wake up I'll hold my pee in and wait till delivery comes and then test xxx

It should say something like 'Read test within x period, discard test results after x period' in the box/information leaflet.

Yeah, the peg test is positive ! Congrats!

But the OPK are all negative just for future reference if you use them again! Do you understand what I’m saying re the lines and them being negative? I just don’t want you to use them and think they’re positive or anyone else reading to think so as they’re negative x

It's over 48 hours since you took the strip test - if you took another one the line should be clearer if you are pregnant, do you have any more of those?
