First baby, high risk miscarriage... Multivitamin question?

Hi all,
So I had 2 rounds of icsi ivf that failed, was booked in for a June frozen transfer however I have just found out we conceived naturally and I am 4/5 weeks pregnant.
Obviously overjoyed but scared out of my mind as been told Im high risk miscarriage due to having colitis/thin lining etc.
My question is, having colitis I can't digest iron and it makes me rather unwell so a pregnacare multivitamin is out of the question.
Does anyone know what actual vitamins I need so I can buy them separately?
I have been taking the past 2 years the orange triad that has everything in but not iron however it has vitamin A in and I keep reading vitamin A is a no no.... My brain is frazzled over it all as I have been taken this the past month so I'm sh*t scared I've caused problems to my baby already, it also says not to take when pregnant 😩.. Can any mums advise what I need?
Thanks all xxx

It's vitamin D and folic acid that's recommended

Folic acid - you may be on a higher dose already? Vitamin D and that’s about it.
If your iron is a bit low, would something like Spatone work? Or is iron a complete no?
Congratulations on pregnancy!

You need to speak to your GP as Colitis can give you a lot of deficiencies. You need a full blood count and review from there. May even need a high dose folic acid. Do you know if you were going to be on an autoimmune protocol with your IVF clinic? If so I suggest talking to them about whether you should / can add prednisolone.

Congratulations🤗🤗 Your midwife will do a blood test when you have your first appointment. If that is not for a while then might be worth asking your gp to check your iron levels and then they can give you the correct supplements on prescription. You need to take vitamin D3, 10 micrograms per day and a folic acid supplement.

@teddybear45 yes I was, I was going to be on prednisone for the first month after my positive when doin ivf however as I've conceived naturally, my fertility clinic are not involved. I am past the first month now anyway however I will be contacting them on Monday for advice.

Thanks all xxx

Ok. I was on prednisolone for the first 12 weeks (autoimmune thyroid issues) plus drips; with colitis it may be even more beneficial due to the inflammation. I know the clinic did say that if I had that (mum has it and they suspected that to be my autoimmune condition before my thyroid results came back) I would probably need to go back on prednisolone in the 3rd trimester. So definitely worth asking.
