Just bumping this thread for you, OP, so you get some advice and support.

Do take a look at our page on coping with morning sickness - there are plenty of tips, treatments and remedies.

Sorry you're having such a rough time of it. Flowers

Have you tried sea bands for the nausea OP? They took the edge off a bit for me, I felt so nauseous but was rarely sick and feel they helped me at little, at least since wearing them I was able to function a bit more and eat a bit more!

Have you tried ginger biscuits? I can't look at them now but they helped. I also took anti sickness tablets every day, and on occasions when I was really sick I had them injected. I was sick all day, every day and throughout labour so you have my sympathy.

Hi OP, same boat but with my first and I’m 18 weeks now and slowly getting over it. The only thing that helped me was resting at every opportunity and tablets from the doctor for nausea and sickness. Book an appointment- don’t wait like me! If I’d of known they would help so much I’d of gone much sooner!

Good luck!

Please speak to your GP and see if you can get antiemetics. It may be that you're in the beginning stages of Hyperemesis, and even if it's "just" morning sickness that you have, it can still be a struggle.

The Pregnancy Sickness Support website can help you, and please take a look at the NICE guidelines for meds in pregnancy. Some GPs can be oblivious, or unhelpful.

I hope you find something!

To be honest I had it all the way through, the only thing that my body liked was ginger ale.

You should be able to get anti sickness though.

Sucking on mints helped me and eating little and often. Honestly was one of the worst things I’ve experienced, I feel for you.

The only thing that helped me was medication prescribed by my GP - if ginger biscuits and the like are doing nothing and you're struggling with life, make an appointment.
I still felt sick and had the occasional vomit, but it kept a lid on it enough so that I could get back to work.
Good luck!

Get your GP to prescribe antiemetics. I struggled for weeks before asking if there was anything they could do and they told me I should have asked sooner.

Only other thing that helped was a pair of velcro adjustable acupunture bands - the ones you can tighten yourself, not the stretchy sea band type. Strapping those on pretty tightly seemed to take the edge off during the worst weeks.
